lntruduction

Citizen University is one of Zambia's private universities registered under the private ACT 11/1999 as a center in the training, research and consultancy. The university s head office is on the 9th  floor of Lottie House. The main campus is situated at St Francis De Sales Catholic Church premises in thorn park Lusaka,while the other campus is under construction in Kasama,Zambia.

Citizen University offers a range of programes with detailed curricula. Recognising of both local and international trends, the university programmes aim at acquainting students with management skills necessary for transformational change, sustainable wealth creation and smart living. The courses combine theoretical classroom education with practical experiences to ensure that graduates are technically prepared and professionally exposed for successful careers in the 21St  century.

The university offers certificates, diplomas, under graduate and post graduate courses. It provides full time as well as, part -time programes (distance, evening and weekends) and operates on a semester system. Academic year runs from mid-January to mid-December of the same calendar year.

There is also a foundation department  for school leavers, School of Education, School of Health Sciences and Engineering; and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
