Chreso University is situated 45km West of Lusaka with plenty of land for further development. The current facilities consists of lecture classes, residents rooms, library, staff offices, administration block, kitchen, desks and chairs, lounges, computer rooms, photocopier, printing facilities and many more facilities.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should posses one of the following;
- Five (5) O- Levels with symbols(1-6) including English, Maths and any of the Sciences.
- Adult or mature age entry for those who are 40years and above without any school qualifications
- Pass 5 IGCSE or HIGCSE level subjects with symbols (A-C) including English Language, Math and any of the Sciences.
- Passes in 5 ‘A’ level including English, Math, and any of the sciences.
Masters Degrees - Distance Learning
All Chreso University masters degrees are a combination of course work and research work. Generally, masters programs run for 1-2 years depending on the nature of the course.

Entry Requirements
All applicants should posses one of the following;
- All masters degrees require a baccalaureate degree (4 year undergraduate degree) from a regionally accredited College, University with a minimum overall undergraduate grade point of 2.5 (4.0 scale) or a 3.0 grade point average on the last 30 semester hours.
- Students with 3 year degrees plus an honors degree qualify the student to enroll for masters.
- Applicants may be admitted unconditionally if they hold a masters or higher degree from a regionally accredited University.
PhD, Th.D, DPhil at Chreso University
All PhD programs are thesis based and normally would last for 3-4 years on full time study and 4-5 years on part time.

Entry Requirements
- Unconditional admission to those with a PhD in related field
- Overall 3.5 GPA at masters level or 70% average pass at masters level
- Admission to candidacy requires a written motivational letter
- Successful completeion of Research Methods in Social/ Business/ Theological/ Health Science with a grade of “B” or better.
- An authentic Masters Degree from a recognized University
- A comprehensive resume detailing all skills and abilities for applicants

- Chreso University is registered and approved with the Ministry of Education and Council for Education as a degree granting institution.
- Chreso University is a member of Logos Educators Network based in Jacksonville in USA.
- Chreso University is affiliated to Logos Christian College and Graduate Schools based in Florida. Logos Graduate School was registered and authorized by the Florida State Board of Independent Colleges and Universities to grant degrees under the Florida Commission for Independent Education.
- Chreso University is accredited fully with International Accreditation Organization based in California as a degree granting institution.
- Chreso University is a member of Economics Association of Zambia.
- Chreso University is affiliated to Cornerstone University accredited by Council for Higher Education of South Africa to grant degrees.
- Chreso University has an MOU with Jiangxi Normal University (JXNU) based in China to grant degrees on an exchange program for two years at Chreso and finish their studies in China.
Scope of Operations at Chreso University
Academic Operations
Chreso University has five major faculties at present (Social and Business, Health Sciences, Education, Criminal Justice and Theological studies). The faculties will offer short courses, Diplomas, Bachelor’s Degrees, Masters and Doctorates respectively. They are all structured according to majors and minors. Each faculty will have additional modules and electives from which the students can choose from. Full time classes start from morning through to afternoon (8:00 to 3pm). All lessons are taught in English and the entire year is broken down into semesters and examinations are written towards the end of each semester.
Distance Learning
Distance students have programs that are structured according to the specific areas of focus. Each year, a student can take a maximum of ten courses distributed in groups of five courses per semester. Other contains four courses per semester depending on the program involved. The subjects are based on text books which the student purchases through the visit and additional materials are given free from the University. Some exceptional students finish the work much earlier than others and may well complete the program in less than three years. The normal length of the bachelor’s program is 3 years though other can complete in less time depending on speed. Masters degrees normally take 1 to 2 years depending on the type of the program. PhDs at Chreso University are three years but good students can complete in two years under exceptional conditions.
Credit Transfer and Waivers
Students can waive some credits for the Foundation courses if they have successfully completed such courses earlier. Students can transfer up to 18 credits for courses that are similar to the program courses at Chreso University provided they have received grades of B or above in these courses from recognized programs. However, grade-equivalence will ultimately be subject to approval of the Chreso University standards.
Credit Hours
Credit hours for a course are assigned on the basis of a 16 week semester using 3 credit hour measurements for each course. One (1) credit hour refers to a course meeting once or studying one hour every week for 16 weeks; 3 credits mean that the course meet at least threes times in class lectures or four hours of study per week.
Performance Evaluation Strategies
Student performance will be evaluated throughout the semester through class tests, quizzes, assignments, and midterm exams. End of semester evaluation will include final exams, term papers, project reports etc. Numerical scores earned by a student in tests, exams, assignments etc will be cumulated and converted to letter grades at the end of the semester.
Computer Services
The main campus is equipped with the latest computers, printing services, equipment for binding documents, and reliable internet access with a learning board. Full time and distance students all have full and don other access to the computer lab making it easier for them to conduct personal research, type assignments, and do other computer related activities.
