Introduction

Makeni College school of Nursing is registered with General Nursing Council of Zambia to train internationally recognized professional nurses and is situated on the main Makeni Road about 800 meters off Kafue Road.

To train nurses that are recognized locally and internationally with unique bias only related to this institution.

Objectives
To produce a professional nurses who will recognize and understand the fundamental health needs of the people and who will possess a body of scientific nursing knowledge, who are highly disciplined, keeping pace with General Scientific advancement and be able to apply this knowledge in meeting nursing needs of the people.

Vision
To stimulate the ‘Calling’ to nursing in order for the nurse to offer oneself a long term dedication to patients.

Entry Requirements:

Grade 12 school certificate with credits or better in English, Mathematics, Biology and any other two acceptable subjects to make 5 ‘O’levels.
