Challenges and Appeal for Aid

The school in its quest to provide and maintain the outstanding grades in pupils and high profile as an institutions faces a number of challenges for which it would appreciate any form of aid from well wishers, former students and the corporate world.

  • Huge bills owed to Water and Sewerage company and high monthly electricity bills
  • High costs of painting hostels and class rooms
  • High rate of vandalism
  • Dilapidation of our internal road network
  • High cost of maintaining sports grounds and sports regalia

We are appealing to well wishers and the corporate world to come and identify themselves with the school and its programmes. We are aware that the corporate entities, in Zambia, tap a valuable human resource which has its source from Schools like David Kaunda High and these are adding value to the net worth of these entities.

Through your corporate social responsibility programmes, we are sure that you can identify yourselves with one programme in developing the school. You could look at adopting the maintenance of hostels, landscaping, inside road rehabilitations, sports grounds rehabilitation, ICT, donation of mattresses, and many more other programmes.
